SMI Accuses Premier of Creating ‘Europe's Colombia’
Vice Chairman of the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Petrit Vasili has held Wednesday responsible Prime Minister Edi Rama for establishing the “Colombia of Europe”, regarding the drug control that the Albanian mafia has in Europe.
On a social media statement, Vasili underlined that the German media has made a scanner without filters of the truth of the government of Prime Minister Rama and his mafia power.
According to SMI’s official, ZDF revealed the truth of the Albanian economy, where one third of it comes from drugs, which amounts to EUR 4.5 billion.
"German state television ZDF seals it: "Rama has created Colombia of Europe, 1/3 of the economy is drugs"
German state television ZDF has made a ruthless scanner of the truth of Edi Rames and his rotten mafia power.
Albania is the Colombia of Europe and a third of the economy alla Rama is drugs themselves full of 4.5 billion euros
Here is what ZDF says and the comments are many:
ZDF dispels the demagoguery and shows the truth of Edi Rames's economy and says:
"Cannabis is the so-called 'gold of Albania'. "Real cannabis harvests make up a third of Gross Domestic Product: 4.5 billion euros."
ZDF affirmatively states:
"In every country there is a mafia, but in Albania, the state belongs to the mafia. Journalist and writer Christiane Jaenicke says that the mafia is very strong in the country, quoting an expression of Fatos Lubonja:
ZDF puts a seal on it when it says: "The Albanian Mafia is everywhere."
ZDF in a destructive way shows that: "Properties and villas in the best areas of Tirana demonstrate the economic success of Albanian mafia".
ZDF seals when it says: “In Tirana, where passports and identities are easily bought, a part of politics and police are corrupted by the mafia. Albania, under Rama's rule, has been labeled by the media as the Colombia of Europe."
ZDF shows very clearly that Albania under Edi Rama is known as the Colombia of Europe. The German network reports that the Albanian mafia deals not only with drug trafficking, but also with money laundering, arms trafficking, prostitution, fines, etc.
"After growing up as the world's leading cannabis traffickers, Albanian mafia clans are now entering the lucrative cocaine business in South America - with Germany as their target market", the report said.
ZDF shows that in the beginning Albanians were partners of the Italian mafia in drug trafficking from Latin America to Europe, now they are importers as first hand for cocaine from Ecuador and Colombia.
ZDF clearly shows the bleak picture of the drug influence of Albanians in major German cities such as Berlin, Hamburg and Frankfurt.
ZDF says that planting cannabis in the country has also invaded the mountains.
ZDF says that despite Germany being cooperating with the Albanian authorities, there is little trust within the Albanian police. "What information is safe, the ZDF journalist asks".
ZDF says: "Criminals benefit from poverty in the country and from a state that offers little to citizens compared to mafia clans."
ZDF clearly states that "The state is very weak and offers a perspective to the citizens. Two-thirds of young people want to leave the country. They see the future abroad'", has stressed Vasili.
Article by ZDF below:
One summer evening in 2021 in the middle of the lively Berlin Wedding neighborhood more than 20 bullets came out of a car towards the guests of a bar seriously injuring some of them. Berlin police are investigating Albanian rival drug gangs that have dominated the drug trade in the capital for years. While Albanian clans have so far been considered the main cannabis traders in Germany, they are now making much higher profits in the most lucrative cocaine business.
Poverty, corruption and archaic codes
After decades of isolation under Hoxha's Stalinist regime, the poorest country in the Balkans, Albania, has only since 1990 been open to Europe and a free market society. But corruption in the highest political positions makes most Albanians doubt the state apparatus and its laws to this day. For centuries they have believed in the unwritten rules of the "Kanun", which puts the family above everything else and is characterized by terms such as "honor" and "revenge". Young people often find their perspective in criminal and well-organized gangs that proudly display the benefits of the international drug trade in villas and luxury cars in their homeland.
The phenomenon of organized Albanian mafia clans has been evident in Germany since the 1990s. In the middle of Germany, Albanian "traitors" who oppose gangs are punished with so-called honor killings. In addition to drug trafficking, in which Albanian families were set up by small partners of Italian mobsters into direct importers in South America, arms bargaining, theft and prostitution are among the main criminal activities of Albanian criminals.
Favored by the liberal visa policy in Albania, the authors change their identity at home whenever they want. This makes it even more difficult for German investigators to search and investigate. The law of silence prohibits any cooperation with the German police under the threat of death.
Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg - mafia structure everywhere
Albanian mafia clans have long dominated the drug market in all major German cities, especially in Berlin and Frankfurt. They certainly collaborate with the Hells Angels in their respective red light districts, such as Hamburg or Frankfurt. Due to the strong Albanian and Kosovar community in German-speaking Switzerland, the border triangle with France in the Lörrach / Basel area has been a hotspot for drug and arms smuggling for years. Albania's attempts to join the EU under Prime Minister Edi Rama have always failed due to the unstable persecution of drug lords in Albania.
Massive cannabis cultivation, especially in the deep mountain valleys in the north and south of the country, provides the farming population with a better income than classical field work. Albanian politics in Tirana has been moving in this area of ??tension for years.
How to deal with killer gangs?
The daily brutality with which Albanian drug gangs operate in the middle of Germany distinguishes them from already much more discreet organizations, such as the Italian mafia clans. Penetrating into the global cocaine business, they are now dealing with large sums of money in the billions.
To be able to take more effective action against the murderous business of the Albanian mafia in Germany, investigators would need much more human and technical resources.
