SMI’s Chair Urges Premier to Make Albanians’ Minimum Salary ALL 40.000

Prime Minister Edi Rama must make the minimal wages of Albanian citizens ALL 400.000 and give the businesses the opportunity to afford such a payment, appealed Friday the Chairwoman of the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Monika Kryemadhi.

During a meeting with the women in Fier city, SMI’s Leader reacted to the Head of Government's statement on hiring workers from abroad. Citizens of the country have grown tired of such deceptions, they have been hearing such things for the last 8 years that Rama has governed Albania, she added.

“You all heard the ridiculous jokes of the Prime Minister in Shkodra about the workers who will come from Bangladesh and all the journalists and social networks made memes with how it could happen if the workers came from Bangladesh.

Before receiving and making the salaries of workers from Bangladesh, Pakistan and wherever he wants with 400.000 ALL, let him make the salaries of Albanian workers and give the chance and opportunity to Albanian businesses to make the minimum wages with 400.000 ALL .

Albanians are tired of such deceptions, they have been hearing him lying for about 8 years. Higher taxes, higher prices, closed businesses, children leaving Albania, destroyed schools, ruined hospitals, scandalous health care, higher medicine bills than anywhere else”, proclaimed Kryemadhi in her statement.
