SPAK Prosecutors Meet Leaders of US Justice Department

Senior officials of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), together with the OPDAT team at the US embassy in Tirana, have been on an official visit to the US for several days. 

In the framework of the work visit, SPAK prosecutors, led by Altin Dumani, held meetings with the leaders of the Department of Justice in the USA. 

The news was made public by the US embassy in Tirana, where, in addition to the publication of photos from the meetings, it is announced that the agenda will continue with meetings with FBI officials.

"The OPDAT team from the U.S. Embassy in Tirana continued their visit to Washington with SPAK officials. SPAK Chief Altin Dumani met with the Chief of the U.S. Department of Justice Public Integrity Unit, responsible for prosecuting public corruption cases in the United States. SPAK officials met with other Department of Justice teams and also visited the library in the Main Justice building. The group will continue their study tour in Washington with visits to the U.S. Department of State, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)," the US Embassy informed.
