Starting June 1 Italy Abolishes Green Pass for Foreigners
Starting the next day, June 1, there will be no more restrictions on entering Italian territory. The Ministry of Health in the neighboring country decided to abolish the obligation to present a green certificate for foreigners entering the country, including Albanians.
Also, no proof of vaccination, nor a negative infection test or cure will be needed and this measure is expected to be in force throughout the summer. However authorities say the mask should be kept indoors such as public transport.
Germany also removes the obligation to present a green certificate by 31 August. However, the authorities of this country say that the measures are variable and the certificate can be put in force by the local authorities of the areas where there may be an increase in infections. Most EU countries have abolished the green certificate requirement at least for the summer season.
