State Police Offers Rewards for Highly Wanted Criminals

State Police announced Wednesday it will release “substantial” rewards available to anyone who has information and informs the authorities about the whereabouts of five highly wanted persons in Albania.

First on the police list is Talo Çela, accused of robbing Rinas and several murders in recent years, second is Laert Haxhiu, accused of several murders including the Lushnja massacre several years ago.

Then, the list goes on with Jani Aliaj, charged with at least one murder; Ibrahim Licin, accused of several murders in Shkodra, including that of two brothers Bilali and Erjon Llapushi, accused of killing the chief waiter of Fish City in Elbasan.

"The State Police is maximally committed to apprehending nationally and internationally wanted persons, mainly those with high social risk.

Thanks to the cooperation with international partners, but also with citizens, during the first quarter of 2022, dozens of persons were arrested nationally and internationally, for various criminal offenses in the field of crimes against person, property and organized crime.

The State Police thanks the citizens for the trust and cooperation so far, and again requests their cooperation to enable the localization and arrest of some of the most wanted persons, for serious criminal offenses against the person and property, namely citizens:

TALO ÇELA, LAERT HAXHIU, JANI ALIA, IBRAHIM LICI AND ERJON LLAPUSHI

For any valuable information that will lead to the localization of the location of these persons, the State Police makes available substantial sums of money.
