Student Protests Spread Across Universities in Albania as Calls for Class Boycott Intensify

Student protests in Albania escalated on Monday, spreading across university campuses as demonstrators called on students to boycott classes and join the ongoing movement.

Students from the Polytechnic University gathered and marched first to the Faculty of History and Philology, where they entered lecture halls chanting slogans urging students to boycott classes.

The demonstrators moved from one classroom to another, calling on students to suspend lessons and join the protest.

Similar actions were reported at the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Foreign Languages, while the student march was later heading towards the Faculty of Law.

Meanwhile, classes at the University of Medicine were reportedly proceeding as scheduled, with no disruption reported.

As in previous days, a protest has also been announced outside the Ministry of Education, as student demonstrations continue to put pressure on authorities.

The protests come amid growing student mobilization, with university campuses becoming the latest focal point of the movement.
