Three People Questioned Over Major Wildfire in Albania’s Himara
Police in Himara have questioned three people in connection with a large wildfire that engulfed parts of the area on Friday evening, as authorities continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the blaze.
Two of the three people were released after questioning, while the third remains at the Himara police station and is still being questioned by investigators.
Police have not identified an alleged perpetrator or a main suspect in connection with the fire.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances and determine what caused the flames to spread, including whether the fire was deliberately started.
Authorities are also working to establish whether any of the people questioned may bear responsibility for the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
