Durres Police has arrested this Wednesday a 22-year-old citizen with initials E.D., resident in Tirana, on the criminal charge of “Breaking the rules of road movement”.

Action by the law enforcement came after the young man, in the early hours of today, lost control of his vehicle and collided with the curb of the traffic divider.

As a result of the collision, the passenger in the vehicle was injured, citizen R. M., 23 years old, resident in Tirana, who is under the care of doctors, in serious health condition.

In the meantime, the materials were forwarded to the Durrës Judicial District Prosecutor's Office for further legal action against the perpetrator.

“Traffic specialists in DVP Durrës arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen ED, 22 years old, resident in Tirana, after in the first hours of today, on the road axis Plepa-Shkozet, driving a vehicle type ‘Volkswagen" lost control and collided with the traffic divider curb”, informed the police.
