Snowfall has affected the entire Albania, even the capital Tirana, where rarely snows. Citizens of the capital have woken up Sunday to a totally different morning considering that snow has blanketed the city and its vicinities.

This snowy day coincides also with the Saint Valentine’s Day, so the people have chosen to use the holidayto take some photos and save them in their photo albums.

"It is a special day for us, but also for the children. This is a special moment for all of us, as we enjoy the snow in Tirana and this is rare", said a citizen, who had taken her son for a walk in the center of Tirana.

On the other hand, the snowfall which started last night and continued in the early hours of this morning have brought problems for the circulation of vehicles, but also pedestrians, as the weather is accompanied by low temperatures.
