Police officers have discovered a weed house, in Malësi e Madhe district, after which two people were declared wanted on Tuesday, in the framework of the operation codenamed "Culaj".

According to the police, the wanted persons adapted the rented environment (bar-restaurant-hotel), for the cultivation of narcotic plants by means of lamps.

During the control it turned out that the citizen K. N., in cooperation with the citizen A. S., had adapted this environment for the cultivation of the narcotic plant cannabis sativa, by means of lamps.

On the first and second floor of the building were found and seized as material evidence 300 suspected narcotic plants, cultivated in vases, 1.3 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa and 230 lamps with stabilizer.

Also, during the control of the environment, an illegal electricity connection was found.

Meanwhile, the owner who had rented the premises was prosecuted and 4 OSHEE employees were placed under investigation.

"The structures of the Malësi e Madhe Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the specialists for the Investigation of Narcotics and Illegal Trafficking in DVP Shkodra, within the measures taken to prevent and crack down on criminal activity of cultivation of narcotic plants, as well as based on information provided for the adaptation of an environment for the cultivation of narcotic plants, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Culaj".

The Police Services have exercised a surprise control in Culajve Street, in Malësi e Madhe, in the business (bar-restaurant-hotel), owned by the citizen F. E., who had rented this premises to the citizen K. N.

During the control it turned out that the citizen K. N., in cooperation with the citizen A. S., had adapted this environment for the cultivation of the narcotic plant cannabis sativa, by means of lamps.

In the framework of this operation, the citizens KN and AS were declared wanted for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants", "Production and sale of narcotics", "Theft of electricity" and "Laundering of proceeds of crime or criminal activity", who had adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants, business premises (bar-restaurant-hotel), owned by the citizen FE

Following the investigative actions, the citizen F. E., 44 years old, resident in the village of Çulaj, Malësi e Madhe, Shkodër, who had rented the premises to the citizen K. N., the premises owned by him, was prosecuted at large.

Also prosecuted at large for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", committed in collaboration, 4 employees of OSHEE, citizens:

Zh., 45 years old, resident of Hot i Ri village, Shkodër, area coordinator; S. H., 58 years old, resident in the village of Grudë Fushë, Malësi e Madhe, head of the OSHEE team; G. B., 52 years old, resident in the village of Çesme, Malësi e Madhe, electrician at OSHEE; R. B., 22 years old, resident in Malësi e Madhe, reader of the measuring device”, said the police.
