The US Senate has not approved the appointment of David Kostelancik as the ambassador of the United States of America to Albania. 

It is learned that the Senate has asked the US President, Joe Biden, to approve a new candidate for this position. 

We recall that Kostelancik was appointed US ambassador to Tirana by US President Joe Biden in January 2023.
