Police of Vlora have seized 260 kg of narcotics, handcuffing 4 Romanian citizens and declaring 5 others wanted.

Vlora Police Director Ermal Mucaj appeared at a press conference, where he gave the details of the "Camper" operation.

“In the framework of this operation, today, in the early hours of the morning, it was possible to capture and handcuff 4 Romanian citizens who were transporting an amount of 260 kilograms of cannabis sativa narcotics, in 2 luxury vehicles of the "Camper" type, with Romanian license plate, in order to traffic this substance in the Greek state and beyond”, stated Mucaj.

Specifically, Marius Cimpeanu, 20, Mihaela Cimpeanu, 20, Florin Tucan, 24, and Andreea Pislaru, 21, were arrested in the act.

During the control of their vehicles, in an attempt to leave the Albanian territory, a quantity of 260 kilograms of narcotics was found hidden in an artificially adapted compartment.

It is suspected that these citizens, at the expense of some of their Albanian collaborators, already announced as wanted, camouflaged themselves as tourists, renting luxury camper vans, and divided into two pairs, trafficked narcotics from our country to Greece and beyond. beyond.
