Vucic Meets QUINT Countries' Ambassadors
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu?i?, hosted the ambassadors of the Quint countries - USA, Great Britain, France, Germany and Italy - as well as the head of the European Union delegation in Belgrade.
The Minister of Defense of Serbia, Miloš Vu?evi?, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Serbia, Milan Mojsilovi?, also participated in the meeting.
During the day, Vucic will also meet with the ambassadors of Russia and China.
The meetings come a day after Serb protesters in Zveçan - a majority Serb municipality in northern Kosovo - clashed with KFOR soldiers.
Dozens of injuries were reported on both sides. Protesters in this municipality, as well as in two others, Zubin Potok and Leposaviq, protested against the new Albanian mayors, who emerged from the extraordinary elections in April.
The protests are continuing today. On Monday evening, Vucic called on the Serbs in the north of Kosovo not to clash with NATO.
The government of Kosovo has blamed Belgrade for "leading the extremist crowd" in the north of the state.
However, KFOR commander, Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia asked Kosovo and Serbia to take "full responsibility" for the events that happened on May 29 in the north of Kosovo and "not to hide behind false narratives".
