Vucic Reacts on Burning of Serbian Flags in Tirana

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuçic, reacted regarding the burning of the Serbian flag during his visit to Tirana, saying that the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, is under pressure for this incident.

Vucic said that burning other flags is an uncivilized act, adding that 'Open Balkan' is the greatest peace project the Balkans has ever done.

"It is uncivilized to burn the flags of others, we have good relations with Albania, do not force me to tell you what pressure Rama is under for this. This (Open Balkans) is the greatest peace project that the Balkans has done and I believe that The Open Balkans can be a vehicle for the growth and development of all of Europe. We will close this year as the country with the highest cumulative rate in Europe over the last two years. The open Balkans is our struggle to have the right to a future according to our wishes", said Vuçiç.

During Vuçic's visit to Tirana, Sali Berisha's supporters burned some Serbian flags, calling against Serbia and against the Open Balkans initiative.
