Defense Minister Niko Peleshi has stated this Sunday that the Albanian government plans to restore the weapons factories to work. 

Minister emphasized that due to the Russian aggression in Ukraine, the demand for armaments has increased and added that it was a good move that the arms production industry has not finally been extinguished. 

"Due to the Russian aggression in Ukraine, the demand for weapons has increased. We have done well not to have finally extinguished our industry. We are thinking about restoring these plants to work. It should not be minimized or cause any kind of panic, because Albania and Kosovo are safe. Our intelligence agency was close to the event," he said.
