A yacht sank this Monday afternoon on the coast of Dhërmi. The incident happened around 18:30, while it is learned that the luxury vehicle was anchored about 100 meters from the shore. 

Thankfully, there were no injuries. The vessel is about 15 m long and bears the name "BAE" with Panamanian flag, owned by the citizen Festim Mark Prendi born in 1984, resident in Tirana. 

There were no people on the yacht and it is thought that the cause of the sinking was the introduction of water from under the yacht, in one of its main corks. 

Police notification: 

Today, around 18:30, in Drimadhes, Dhërmi, the yacht, owned by the citizen F. P., 38 years old, resident in Tirana, sank at sea, suspected due to a problem that brought water onto the yacht. There were no people on the yacht. Only material damage was caused.
