'God Couldn't Be Everywhere, So He Made Mothers'

Prime Minister Edi Rama has chosen the famous quotation Rudyard Kiplin "God could not be everywhere, so He made mothers", in order to greet women on their Day.

March 8 is known as International Women’s Day. It commemorates the women's rights movement. While the first observance of Women's Day was held on February 28, 1909, in New York, March 8 was suggested by the 1910 International Women's Conference to become an "International Women's Day."

International Women’s Day 2021 Date: Celebrated on March 8 every year, this day is symbolic of the historic journey women around the world have taken to better their lives. It comes as a reminder that while a lot has been achieved, the journey is long and a lot more needs to be done.
