French President, Emmanuel Macron spoke in Albanian in Tirana during the works of the Berlin Process Summit in Tirana, saying "long live the Franco-Albanian friendship". 

During his speech after being honoured by Prime Minister Edi Rama, the French president also spoke about the close ties between the two countries. 

"To conclude, I am raising my glass to this enthusiastic vision that we have for your country.  

For Albania, the Albanian people, for the close and so special ties that unite us, for Europe. Long live Albania, long live Franco-Albanian friendship", said Macron among other things.
