'Rama 3' Government to Swear in Before President Meta

Prime Minister Edi Rama and the ministers of the new government were approved by 77 votes in favor and 53 against this Friday morning by the Assembly.

The next day Rama together with other members of the cabinet will be sworn in before President Meta. It seems that today the oath did not take place as Meta is to Korça for a working visit and a decoration ceremony for 4 personalities.

The "Rama 3" government will consist of 12 women and 5 men together with the Prime Minister. The cabinet is going to swear in before a President who was discharged by the old Assembly, but not from the Constitutional Court.

It was the Socialist majority that initiated Meta's dismissal, claiming that he had influenced and interfered in the April 25 elections, coming out of the President's stature. However, Meta has given a signal of agreement with the new government after issuing the decree of approval for all new members of Rama's cabinet.
