The US Embassy in Tirana through a post on social networks has made public the message of Ambassador Yuri Kim during a conversation on civic participation, and the challenges faced by Albanian youth.                                                      

According to the ambassador, young people are the those who bring change and must protect their rights.

“You are the changemakers. When you advocate for your rights, lead campaigns, volunteer in your communities, and vote in your elections, you have an impact and make a contribution to a future where Albanians have the opportunity to thrive,” said Ambassador Yuri Kim when discussing civic participation, challenges that young Albanians face in joining the workforce, and youth participation in democratic processes with Albanian members of USAID/Albania’s European Democracy Youth Network (EDYN).
