Some residents of Durres city held a protest this Tuesday in front of the Municipality building, asking information with respect to the construction of their houses destroyed by earthquake of November 26, 2019.

Citizens have asked the Municipality for clarification on the reconstruction process. They said that 6 months have passed since the earthquake and that the works for the construction of houses have not started yet.

This is the third time that residents of neighborhood no. 17 in the city of Durres have decided to protest in front of the Municipality of Durres, but have not yet received a response.

November 26 devastating earthquake caused 51 victims, around one thousand of injured and thousands of people were left homeless. The main affected areas are Durres, Thumana, Tirana, Kruja, Laci and Lezha.
