Accused a Judge for Taking Bribes, Malltezi Appears at SPAK

The daughter of the democrat leader, Sali Berisha, Argita Malltezi, appeared this Thursday at the Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK).

She entered the prosecution at 09:00 am, saying that she was called over the case 193 of the year 2024. The case is for the declarations that she made against a judge, Irena Gjoka, saying that she saw a video where Gjoka was negotiating with a former socialist MP, for taking EURO 500.000 in order to help him with legal procedures.

But after her stay at SPAK, Malltezi said that prosecution decided to close investigations on issue.

"They have decided to close the case. I asked if such a video exists, does SPAK have such a video that it accidentally found in the house of a journalist who left Albania. I don't have the video," said Malltezi.
