The agreement for the development of the "Durrës Yacht & Marina" project was signed this Monday, worth about 2 billion euros and which will be spread over 450 hectares, it is considered the most important tourist project. 

Mohamed Alabbar, the founder and owner of the Dubai-based EMAAR company, said that this project is one of the most advanced projects in the world. 

"We are so lucky to be where we are today because what we have achieved is just the beginning. We worked hard, believing it would happen, but at the same time we see people's enthusiasm for our vision. We are very proud of this achievement. Some of the things we are doing there have not been done anywhere in the world. It is one of the most advanced projects in the world. We have a full Albanian team and this team is growing. These people working with us from Albania are running one of the most advanced projects in the world. Some of the things we are doing here are more advanced than in Dubai," he said. 

He guaranteed the Albanian citizens that he will not disappoint them with this project, which he described as magnificent. 

"I will not disappoint you", he said. 

Prime Minister Edi Rama said that this project will be one more reason for Albanians to feel proud of their country. 

"It will give Albania one more reason for national pride", said Rama.
