18 elections voting centers on Sunday will be inside prisons as nearly 2600 prisoners will vote for the next government. Central Elections Commission informed that 2600 prisoners were registered as voters in Albania prisons nationwide. 

Based on the last data, the highest number was registered in the prison 313 in Tirana, in a prison in Fier and Shkodra.

However not every prisoner can vote. Based on decriminalization law, 2400 prisoners cannot use their right to vote due to the serious criminal offenses they have committed.
