Mane Foundation Awards Scholarships to the Top Students, 4rth Year of Collaboration with Faculty of Economics
For the fourth consecutive year, Mane Foundation has provided full scholarships to top Master's students at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana. This year, six scholarships were awarded in the fields of Tourism, Economics, Information Security, and Finance.
The scholarship ceremony took place at the Faculty of Economics, with the attendance of students, Samir Mane, the founder of Mane Foundation and President of BALFIN Group, as well as Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bernard Dosti.
In his speech, Samir Mane highlighted the importance of the Mane Foundation’s B4Students program in supporting young people’s education and helping students with ambition grow as professionals or entrepreneurs. He also praised the Faculty of Economics for producing professionals who make a valuable contribution to private companies in the country.
“"Success is a continuous journey, and as we move forward, know that our support will always be there. This support goes beyond academic development, extending to internships at BALFIN Group companies, which will prepare you to enter the job market with confidence" said Samir Mane. He also shared that over 450 former students from the Faculty of Economics are currently employed at BALFIN Group companies, and 20 students are currently interning at these companies thanks to B4Students program.
Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bernard Dosti emphasized the importance of the cooperation agreement with BALFIN Group and how it will continue, benefiting both the faculty and the economy. He noted that the agreement is more than just a formal contract, as it has resulted in tangible outcomes for students and the development of a better education system.
“I’m happy that the agreement with BALFIN Group is not just on paper; it has been put into practice and will continue to benefit both the faculty and the economy. It shows how private businesses can help improve the education system,” said Dean Dosti.
In the past four years, the collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and BALFIN Group has resulted in investments such as a modern computer lab, professional internships, academic conferences, and activities focused on the development of young professionals. Mane Foundation supports these efforts through B4Students program, providing students with valuable practical experience for their careers.
