Albania-Hungary Sign Agreement on Olympic Cooperation

The Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH) and the Hungarian Olympic Committee signed a cooperation agreement, which focuses not only on experiences with athletes and coaches but also on the management, infrastructure and other areas related to sports.

The President of KOKSH, Fidel Ylli, emphasized mainly the Hungarian law on sports, which he called the best in the world and that Albania should take as an example: "I am honored by the visit of the Hungarian delegation, above all for the concrete cooperation between the two Olympic committees. In addition to training elite athletes, or various experiences with coaches, we will cooperate in several other areas that will help sports, but above all, they will take Hungarian sports legislation as a model, as it is the best in the world and we should definitely refer to it. It is not in vain that Hungary has achievements in sports, especially in the Olympics, with many medals.

The President of the Hungarian Olympic Committee, Krisztián Kulcsár, after thanking for the hospitality, stated that the cooperation with Albania will be concrete in sports: "First of all, thank you for the reception. Albania is a country with resources, of course also in sports. Sharing experiences in sports is very important, we help each other. For example, Hungary can increase the level of weightlifting or wrestling through coaches and athletes from Albania. But not only that, but the cooperation will also be in management and infrastructure. "

The president of the Kosovo Olympic Committee, Ismet Krasniqi, was also present at the joint meeting. The leaders of the Olympic Movement of the three countries, Albania-Kosovo-Hungary, met with the Mayor of Tirana, the Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi, and finally, Prime Minister Edi Rama will receive them in his office.
