Germany Imposes New Travelling Rules for Albanians
Germany has categorized Albania in the list of high risk countries regarding the situation created by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Albania informs that starting from January 16, Albanians traveling to Germany must be provided with proof of recovery from COVID, vaccination certificate or test that you are not affected by coronavirus.
Upon arrival in Germany, travellers from Albania must be quarantined for 10 days while 5 days later must be tested again. In case the test is negative this time, they can move freely.
"The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs announces that Germany has included Albania in the list of countries at high risk by Covid19. Starting from January 16, 2022, Albanians traveling to Germany will need to register on the website www.einreiseanmeldung.de before travelling.
At the time of registration, you must upload proof of recovery from Covid19 or that you are fully vaccinated. If you are unable to provide either of these two proofs, you will need a Covid-19 test to enter Germany.
Upon arrival you will need to be quarantined for ten days. After five days, you can be tested again and if the test result is negative, you can end the quarantine. Further information can be found on our website," the statement said.
