February can be considered as the most deadly and highly infectious month regarding Covid-19 in Albania as Health Ministry reported Thursday 1112 new cases and 17 victims last  24-hours. 

Only this month it was reported more cases of COVID-19 than at any other point in the pandemic so far. Hospitalizations, continue to march upward. Ministry informed that 594 people are being treated in all Covid-19 hospitals and regionals one, 36 of whom are at intensive therapy while 12 other are put on ventilators.

Most of the cases were identified in Tirana (392), but even other cities as Kavaja, Durresi and Vlora or Elbasan seen a huge trend of new infections. Although were recovered 991 people, the number of those infected is much higher, causing a line in Covid-19 hospitals as they run out of beds.
