Albania is ranked 91st out of 145 countries studied, in terms of their military and human power. Compared to a year ago, Albania has improved by 14 places in the Global Power Index. In 2021, it was ranked 115th in the world and last in the region. 

Albania is ranked higher than some of the Western Balkan countries, but the regional race is won by Serbia, ranked 58th. The USA ranks first, followed by Russia and China.

Regarding this, Prime Minister Edi Rama also reacted, who through a post on Facebook wrote that the country has a difference from other countries in the Balkans. 

"From the Great Package, the Armed Forces were also awarded, as a plus support to reduce the impact of war inflation on their families during this difficult winter.

GOOD NEWS: In the Global Fire Power index 2022 (Global Fire Power), Albania has jumped 14 steps compared to 2021. Our country is now ranked after Serbia, but with a difference from the other countries of the Western Balkans", Rama wrote alongside a video that shared on social media.
