Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi talked about the military cyber defense unit, saying that this year this unit will be completed in terms of human capacities.

Peleshi said that better salaries will be guaranteed than in the private sector in order to be competitive.

"One of the important projects is the military cyber defense unit, which has taken on a new weight due to last year's cyber attacks. We are recruiting new cyber security experts. We have increased salaries. The state bureaucracy does not allow you to leave certain salary categories. The government is applying a competitive regime. In the labor market these are the best paid professions. They could sell themselves even across borders without having to move from Albania. Because many services can be offered online. If we are not competitive in payments, we cannot recruit staff. We will create the operational center for cyber security. A ground-air-ground communication system becomes possible thanks to this partnership", said Peleshi.
