EUROPOL has published the list of 56 most wanted criminals by the European police. Among the most wanted is an Albanian, Aleks Burreli. The 50-year-old is the only Albanian wanted by Europol police.

He has been declared wanted since June 23, 2016, the date he killed a businessman in Cyprus and the two police officers who accompanied him. Burrel and his brother, Jani Vogli, went on the evening of June 23rd at the restaurant where businessman Fanos Kalopsidiotis was having dinner in Cyprus and emptied a Kalashnikov at him, leaving him dead along with two police officers.

The other two were injured. Burreli and Vogli left the crime scene, but the wounded reacted by leaving the brother of the wanted man dead. Burreli fled the scene and since that day is one of the most wanted criminals. The crime he committed was thought to have been ordered by someone else and that the two Albanians were simply assassins.

Other names such as the Italian mafia BOSS, Matteo Messina Denaro, Mustafa Kosurgeli, also wanted for murder, Derek Ferguson, etc. also stand out in the list of highly wanted criminals from Europol.
