Albanian-Kosovo Joint Meeting Cancelled

The joint meeting between the governments of Albania and Kosovo is cancelled.

The meeting was planned to be held on Wednesday in Gjakova. The sources confirm that the delegations have not left for Kosovo.

Meanwhile, the press office of the prime minister has announced that the head of the government Edi Rama will hold a press conference at 19:30, while it is not known if it is related to this decision.

The two cabinets would sign 13 new agreements. Afterwards, the two heads of state would hold a joint press conference. The reason for the sudden cancellation is still unknown.

Earlier today, Kurti rejected the draft statute proposed by the Albanian government. He said that Rama should hand over that draft to Aleksandër Vucic for the Albanians living in the Presheva Valley.
