Albanian Passes Border with Greece to Steal Sheep, Caught Red-Handed

Korça police have arrested Tuesday a 44-year-old man after he was caught with 40 sheep, which he had stolen in Greece.

Official sources suggest that the 44-year-old was caught at a place called "Selenica Stream" entering Albania together with the sheep stolen in the neighbouring country. 

"Specialists for the Investigation of Economic-Financial Crime in the Local Police Directorate of Korça, made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the citizen I.B, 44 years old, resident in Korça, after he was caught by the police in a place called "Selenica Stream", in Kolonjë , transporting 40 head of cattle, which he allegedly stole in the Greek state and then smuggled to Albania, through the green border. The Police are working to bring to justice other persons, suspected of being implicated in this event ", the police informs.
