Fier Prosecution Takes Three to Court for Theft Resulting in Death
Fier Prosecution Office concluded the investigations and referred three defendants—citizens M.G., E.H., and F.Ç.—to trial for the criminal offenses of "Theft Resulting in Death," committed in complicity, as stipulated in Article 141 of the Criminal Code, and "Unlawful Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosives, and Ammunition," as stipulated in Article 278, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
The investigations conducted in cooperation with the Local Police Directorate under criminal proceedings No. 1394/2022, substantiated that on November 19, 2022, around 02:00 AM, in the village of Klos, Municipality of Mallakastër, citizens M.G., E.H., and F.Ç., acting in complicity, entered the home of citizen Caush Shehaj armed and physically assaulted him. As a result of the injuries sustained to his face and body, citizen Caush Shehaj passed away.
The prosecution, after concluding investigations, has drafted the request for taking the defendants M.G., E.H., and F.Ç. to the court concerning the criminal offense of "Theft Resulting in Death" committed in complicity, as provided for in Article 141 of the Criminal Code, and "Illegal possession and manufacture of firearms, explosives, and ammunition," as stipulated in Article 278, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code
