Angjeli's "Diary of the Transition" at the Nat’l Book and Reading Center

At the National Book and Reading Center, a discussion on the economic developments in the country over the last 30 years was held, led by academician and Prof Dr Anastas Angjeli. This discussion revolved around the content of his extensive work titled "Diary of Transition," which spans eight voluminous publications, each comprising over 500-600 pages. During the conversation, Acad. Angjeli and journalist Monika Stafa delved into topics concerning economic thought, its correlation with different systems, and its interaction with culture. The audience consisted of academics, professors, and students, engaging in an insightful dialogue on these complex subjects.
The "Transition Diary" volume provides a comprehensive account of Albania's economic development since the 2000s, offering valuable insights into the country's progress during this period. NBRC highlights on its website that academician Angjeli has captured a wealth of knowledge in this series, covering various aspects such as reforms, economic policies, and social development in Albania.
This event follows shortly after the professor was honored with the prestigious "Eqerem Çabej" award, the highest scientific accolade bestowed by the Academy of Sciences. Academician Angjeli is not only a distinguished intellectual but also a renowned economist of European stature. He is a member of ASHSH (Albanian Academy of Sciences and Arts) and the European Academy of Sciences, holding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa from several esteemed universities worldwide. Additionally, he is the founder and President of the Mediterranean University of Albania.
