The chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party (SP), Taulant Balla, during a meeting with citizens of Fier, commented again regarding the claims for payments that the former first lady Monika Kryemadhi received from a Russian company. 

Balla said that the SP will not stop until the truth of these payments will come to light. According Balla, instead of threatening the media, Kryemadhi should give an explanation to the citizens about the payments made by Russian companies. 

"Socialists could not wait to have both Berisha and Meta in front of them together. These days, the public opinion has become aware of a fact that is the tip of the iceberg of a story of Russian financing for the Berisha-Meta couple. Instead of clarifying about these payments, the wife of the former president threatens to sue the media. The first thing a politician should do is to come out in front of the public and clarify how it is possible that Putin's direct beneficiaries finance the Fier MP (Kreyemadhi). We will not remain silent, nothing is accidental about Russia's funding for Berisha and Meta," said Balla.
