Oilmen During their First Hunger Strike

Ballsh Oilman Sent Urgently to Hospital after Health Deterioration

Hunger strike of Ballsh oil workers has entered in its 10th day this Wednesday, when one of the protesters had health problems and was sent immediately to the hospital for more specialized care.

Albaniandailynews.com has learned the striker has faced issues with his blood pressure, therefore the doctors forced him to leave the refinery premises where the strike is taking place.

Several oilmen have been part of the hunger strike for 10 days now, consuming only water and sugar, for a solution to problem that they have not received their salaries for months and there is no security for the future.

One day ago, the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) urged the authorities responsible to give Ballsh oilmen what rightfully belongs to them and accused that Renaissance and Prime Minister Edi Rama’s lies continue.
