Former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha has chosen to hold a meeting in Vlora while the Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Lulzim Basha is holding this Wednesday a meeting with the Democrats of Dibra to meet his supporters in this area.

Berisha has announced that he will be present in a hotel hall in Vlora, where he will hold a meeting with Vlora Democrats on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of its founding and at the same time will hold a press conference.

“On the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the founding of the branch of the Democratic Party, Vlora, the branch and members of the Democratic Party, will organize a meeting at 12:00 in the premises of Hotel Bologna, Skele where Mr. Sali Berisha will also participate and Democratic Party sympathizers.

The media that want to follow the activity can receive the signal through the official website of Mr. Berisha on the Youtube channel which we will distribute to the media group as soon as the activity starts”, as informed for Berisha’s meeting.

Earlier today, Basha traveled to Dibra, while sources from political entity revealed that the head of the blue headquarters traveled to Dibra at the request of the branch and Democrats of this region.

This move by Basha has come a few days after the meeting of the National Council, in which the leader of the Democratic Party asked all leaders to be on the ground as soon as possible, to continue the political action.

One of the main points of Basha's instructions was the work to bring closer those democrats who, according to him, were used by Berisha's political action.

"They are people who have sacrificed and are disappointed with us. But we have to work with them, convince them and become together," Basha said at the National Council meeting.

Meanwhile, one of the issues that will be at the center of Basha's political agenda is the Civic Alliance for Democracy, already approved by the National Assembly on December 18 as a partner organization of the Democratic Party, which aims to further open the Democratic Party and bring it closer. with different social groups.

However, the DP is "boiling" from within since the expulsion of Sali Berisha from the DP parliamentary group.

Since that day, at the headquarters of the Democratic Party, the two sides who do not acknowledge each other, collide in the distance, where there were also tons of force.

Furthermore, the Democrats are divided into two parts, those who joined the Democratic Party Assembly, which expelled the former chairman Sali Berisha from any party function, while the latter called a membership referendum for the dismissal of the party chairman, Lulzim Basha, after Assembly of December 11th.
