BKH Seizes Phones as SPAK Investigation Continues

The National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) has continued searches and the seizure of mobile phones as part of an ongoing investigation led by SPAK Chief Prosecutor Klodian Braho.

The investigation, which began following an audio recording brought forward by former deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj, has now led to the seizure of the mobile phone belonging to Aleks Marku, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence, local media reported.

Meanwhile, acting on a decision by the Special Court, which approved requests submitted by Prosecutor Braho, BKH investigators have also seized the phones of businessman Ron Yeffet, businesswoman Arjeta Puca and Ardi Veliu, head of KAYO.

The seizures reportedly form part of a broader collection of documentary and digital evidence gathered during searches as the investigation continues.
