The escape of Seit Danaj, 60 years old, who on July 2 shot his sister Bukuroshe Hoxha, leaving her injured, lasted only two days. The police arrested him in the city of Vlora.

According to the blue uniforms, the 60-year-old was under the influence of alcohol when the incident occurred.

Seit Danaj will now be charged with the criminal offenses "Attempted Murder due to family circumstances", and "Illegal production and possession of hunting and sports weapons."

His sister, meanwhile, is in hospital, out of danger for life. Shortly after the injury, the suspected perpetrator managed to escape by hiding in a forest area near the village where the incident took place. The area is extremely wooded and police also used drones in an attempt to locate the 60-year-old.
