Canada-Wanted Young Murder Arrested in Morina Border

A 21-year-old young man from Kosovo was arrested Monday in Morina border crossing point (BCP), for the purpose of extradition to Canada, since he was declared internationally wanted for the criminal offense "Murder of second instance".

At the entrance of the Morina BCP, the Border Police services detained the internationally wanted citizen Artin Korça, 21 years old, resident in Gjilan, Kosovo, as the authorities announced.

Korça turned out to have been an internationally wanted person by NCB Ottawa, Canada, after the Court of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada has issued an arrest warrant for him for the criminal offense "Murder of second instance" during the processing and verification of data in the system.

However, the maximum sentence for this criminal offense is life imprisonment and at the end of the investigative actions, the specialists of the Sector for Investigation of Crime in DVP Kukës made the provisional arrest of this citizen, in order to extradite him to Canada.
