Civil society activists in defense of Butrint gathered this Thursday in front of the parliament.

With placards in their hands, the protesters expressed their indignation against the Rama government's decision to overturn President Meta's decree on the return to the Assembly of the law for the management of Butrint National Park.

With banner "MPs, don't be traitors, don't sell Butrint", the citizens want to force the Rama government to withdraw from the concession of another national asset. Rama government has approved the concession contract for Butrint Park for ten years.
