The Commissioner for Enlargement in the European Union, Oliver Varhelyi, has congratulated the Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Albanian government for taking office after the swearing in the Presidency this Saturday, emphasizing the key role of constructive dialogue.

Varhelyi writes in the congratulatory message that he cannot wait to start working with the new government for Albania's integration into the EU and emphasizes that the rule of law should be on the agenda of this majority.

"Congratulations to Edi Rama and the Albanian government on taking office. I look forward to working with you and expect EU integration and the rule of law reforms to feature high on the agenda. Constructive political dialogue and a strong coordination key for EU membership," Varhelyi wrote on Twitter.
