DEA Agent Arrives in Albania to Support SPAK in Drugs Fight
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent Brendan Leddy has arrived to Albania so as to work with the Special Prosecution against Organized Crime and Corruption (SPAK) and domestic law enforcement in operations against drugs and organized crime.
This information was released by the US Embassy to Tirana, which also revealed that Special Agent Leddy was received by diplomat Yuri Kim, who welcomed him to the team and discussed the future of DEA presence in Albania.
"The U.S. Embassy is pleased to welcome Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent Brendan Leddy to Albania. Ambassador Kim met with Special Agent Leddy to welcome him to the team and to discuss the future of the DEA presence in Albania. Special Agent Leddy along with additional DEA personnel will cooperate closely with SPAK and Albanian law enforcement counterparts to strengthen partnership on international counter narcotics and organized crime operations. Special Agent Leddy will further support capacity building on counter narcotics investigative techniques", as announced.
