Secretary of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party (DP), Arbi Agalliu, has emphasized Thursday that Albania ranks last in Europe in terms of per capita income and consumption, referring to the statistics published by Eurostat.

Through a social medaia status, the Democrat stressed that this situation will continue as long as there are no governing policies based on sustainable development and far from corrupted administration.

"Albania ranks last in Europe for per capita income and consumption. The data published by Eurostat show once again the Albanian reality. Even with the countries of the region, the difference is significant.

"This will continue to be the ranking as long as there are no governing policies which are based on sustainable development, liberalization of markets, away from clientelism and above all an uncorrupted administration", said Agalliu.
