DP Denounces Corruption in School's Reconstruction

Secretary of the Democratic Party (DP) for Legal Affairs, Çlirim Gjata went Friday to Thumanë to denounce the theft of the Reconstruction funds for the school "Ramazan Jangozi".

Gjata says that a few months before the earthquake the school was reconstructed with ALL 587 million, while a few weeks later the earthquake damaged it and the diggers demolished it to hide the first theft.

He further says that the procedures for concluding the contract have been delayed for 3 months because the 'prey' will be distributed, while the school should have been ready today, but this doesn't happen because of the local and central government's corruption.

"Thumana School should have been ready today as we speak, but the corruption of the thieves has prevented it. So far, only 30% of the total work has been done, proving that the real job of this government is to rob citizens even in the most difficult time for them. Students are not a priority of this government.

Very soon, the curtain will fall and thieves will answer before the law," declared Gjata.
