Bittersweet situation has been noticed this Tuesday in Dukat village of Vlora of Southern Albania, where the flames endangering it have been put off partially.

Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi ensured earlier that Dukat’s houses do not risk catching fire, but there is still risk to the National Part of LLogara, which can suffer extensive damage if affected by the flames.

During the earlier hours of the day, there were 500 Armed Forces members engaged in extingushing the fire, but some of them left for Gjirokastra where there are serious problems

When it comes to Gjirokastra, the flames are wreaking havoc to two villages: Arshi Lëngo and Asim Zeneli, where the evacuation of the residents has started.

To make things worse, in the second village, a man died as the fire situation got out of control.
