The Prefect of Durrës District, Roland Nasto, and that of Lezha, Gjokë Jaku, have been dismissed by order of Council of Ministers.

The decision taken at the meeting of the Council of Ministers states that they have been replaced by Emiljan Jani in Durrës and Gjergj Prendi in Lezha. 

The decision of the Council of Ministers for the mayor of Durrës 

Pursuant to Articles 100 and 114 of the Constitution and Article 5 of Law no. 107/2016, "On the Prefect of the Region", on the proposal of the Minister of Interior, the Council of Ministers decided:

1.Mr. Roland Nasto, prefect of Durrës District, is relieved of this duty. 

2.Mr. Emiljan Jani is appointed prefect of Durrës Region. 

This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette". 

Decision of the Council of Ministers for the mayor of Lezha 

Pursuant to Articles 100 and 114 of the Constitution and Article 5 of Law no. 107/2016, "On the Prefect of the Region", on the proposal of the Minister of Interior, the Council of Ministers decided:

1. Mr. Gjokë Jaku, prefect of Lezha Region, is relieved of this duty. 

2. Mr. Gjergj Prendi is appointed prefect of Lezha Region.
