Durres, Man Arrested for Remote-Controlled Mines

A 30-year-old man has been arrested by the Durrës Police, after two remote-controlled mines were discovered, which would be sold for a price of 6.000 euros. 

It is learned that the arrest of the young man, came in the framework of the operation "Prevention", in the place called "Museum", in the neighborhood no. 9, Durrës, was caught and arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen Eluar Thaçi, 30 years old, resident in Katund i Ri, Durrës. 

During the physical control against the citizen E. Th., the Police services found and seized as material evidence 2 mines with remote controls connected to the mobile device, which this citizen would sell for the amount of 6000 euros. 

In cooperation with the Prosecution of the Durrës Judicial District, work continues to identify and apprehend other persons involved in this criminal activity. The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Durrës Judicial District for the criminal offense "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosives and ammunition."
