The number of ferries departing from the Port of Durrës to Italy has doubled in recent days. 

Companies have added other ferries for emigrants leaving Albania. From January 4 to 9, there will be 4 trips per day. About 3,000 people are expected to leave this Wednesday. 

In the last two days 7,000 people left for Italy. To cope with the flow of these days, 24 counters have been set up for carrying out procedures. 

This organization has avoided the influx, long waits or delays, since thousands of Albanian emigrants return to the countries where they live after enjoying New Year's Eve in homeland.
